i remember waiting all week for the new episodes of “Star Trek”, “GI JOE”, “Transformers” and such, really cool “culture breaking” TV shows. now boom! they’re on the big screen, bigger and badder than ever.
i know we’ve seen star trek movies for about 3 decades and transformers is just a new installment of the franchise, but there is a big difference between 2009 and the earlier movies.
bigger budgets, A list directors and producers, re – imagination of style and functuality. and most of all, you can tell that the executives behind these movies are bringing in their childhood memories to these productions.
