it’s a little too pop for me, what can i say – i’m more into rock, but the artwork is nice
Facebook have just announced that they have become profitable. And who is responsible for that? Well, you, me, our friends anyone with a profile on facebook. You see, in a social network, we are the content suppliers, we are the media, we are the ratings. That means we have a monetary value to mister Zuckerberg and friends.
And I just found this cool app that tells you just how much you and you’re friends are worth. It’s called Viral Loop

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Japanese creatives is that they think very differently from us westeners. Their pattern of thought is … well … surreal compared to ours and their creative is borderline genius/lunacy.
Check out the new PS3 campaign called “Game faces” which shows people’s faces while playing on the PS3
You know what? This is just outrageous!
Millions of die-hard Entourage fans have been waiting for months for this new season. We waited for the boys , who we see as part of our own posse, to come back and give us the usual rollercoaster thrill ride that lightens up our week and inspires us 30 minutes at a time.
Ari is my hero but hell, i even missed Lloyd, and what do we get?
Nothing.
That’s right, nothing. The first 2 episodes were (excuse me guys) b-o-r-i-n-g.
Nothing happens, nothing appears to be happening. The plotlines are weak, the action and humour are non existant, the good times seem, well, lame.
So far the only good thing I can say about the first 2 episodes is Jeremy Piven (Ari Gold) is still the best actor on TV, Adrien Grenier (Vinnie Chase) is getting better and better and Emmanuelle Chriqui (Sloane) is the hottest thing on the show bar none and a great actor to boot.
Here’s a littlr clip I picked up on youtube. judge for yourself
Yes we know, the hype on twitter is all a tweet. and now we get even more hype with rumours spreading about you buying twitter for $700,000,000.
Dude, seriously? twitter is a cute application with millions of free users, a growth rate of 40% but also an abandonment rate of 70%. Why is everybody leaving twitter after a short period of time? Coz it’s just part what we’re really looking for. We use the “what’s on your mind” feauture on facebook way more than twitter, and since facebook (and all IM’s) have cellular capabilities, we’re updating over all mediums, but not just tweets; videos, photos, music… our life.
Not to mention that twitter has no business model. In this recession economy, there’s no room for paying out such a ridiculous sum on something that will probably die out in 3 years.
But more than that Mr. Steve Jobs, you have much more important and exciting things to do with that money, like: how about fixing the Iphone battery so it won’t run out so quickly? what about a new generation of apple tv? how about creating “apple games” to enrich our entertainment?
Really, if you don’t know what to do with all that cash, just write to me, i’ll give you great ideas.
Or press “donate” on the page and buy me millions of cups of coffee. Sure could use them while i think up some big ideas for you ![]()
A few days ago a friend of mine handed me a copy of x-men origins: wolverine. you know the one that leaked to the web a few weeks back. usually i turn down these offers coz hey – i like movies. i like watching them on the big screen, so why go for second best. but i’m also a die-hard comics fan and well… the temptation was just too great. i slipped it into the dvd player and you know what? i was so dissapointed. not at the movie, but at the quality. no sound effects, no big bangs, no visually stunning special effects. and what was frustrating is you could tell that there’s a cool movie there. 10 minutes later i pressed stop, called up my bros (yes, at 37 we still love comics) and bought tickets to see it on saturday.
hell i’ll wait another day and pay up the few bucks, but at least i won’t feel like i was getting played
